It works…but we need to add a special PROMO Code to book the rooms online will be checkers. The special rate will be available only if they book online or call the 800 # and ask for it.

We will have the promo code set up in the next few days

 We got the official go-ahead on this tournament in the 1:00 pm phone conference today Monday, 12/21/2015 with Jan McCormick, Harry Sabine, Tennessee Chess Association, Larry Michael, and JR Smith.  DW/DMR will host and sponsor the 2016 Smokey Mountain Chess and Checker Tournament over 3 days, February 26th through 28th.  Chess will arrive Friday evening and Checkers will arrive Thursday evening. Chess and Checkers will run parallel tournaments independently in separate playing rooms.  Chess (TCA) and Checkers (ACF) will conduct special tutorial sessions for Parent and Kids for both games who are vacationing with Dollywood’s  DreamMore Resort getaway “Family Time” promotion.

This is a postcard I plan to mail to all checker players who do not have email or actively use it.
